The idea of a dying town where in this instance coal mining has left forever is very evocative of the steel and coal countries of backwater Pennsylvania. She had to give them up, and in a way once your dreams die, a spark goes out of you. But, life interrupted and it changed her forever. This description, for example, is a typical story. When do you realize you have to forge your own path? Do you stay behind and get trapped? Seems to try to replicate the feeling many people have when they grow up and everybody changes and when they return home, businesses are dead, friends have left or are different, everything you thought you knew has changed. I really like what they're trying to capture, at least from the description and video.
